The climate warmed up once in a while Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier, who will be in the main fight of UFC 178, valid for the organization's light heavyweight belt. At the press conference to promote the event, held this Monday (4) in Las Vegas (USA), the two fighters had a disagreement when they faced each other and went into a fight.

Jones tried to put his forehead on Cormier's head, who didn't like the act and responded immediately by pushing the champion away. “Bones” left his belt aside and attacked his rival, throwing punches. Amidst the fighters and other people trying to break up the confusion (including a desperate Dave Sholler, UFC public relations director, who was mediating the fight), the scene turned into a general fight.
After the tempers calmed down, the fighters returned to provoke each other through the Twitter. “Come on, DC, where was your takedown defense? I had you on your back in six seconds. Put the ice in your face, you have a lot of interviews to give tomorrow. Those baby punches you threw on the ground, I really hope you're more prepared than that when I knock you down again,” Jones wrote.

Cormier responded immediately. “I have takedown defenses for you. Don't ever put your dirty face on me again. You hit like a bitch. You better use kicks, because I could take your punches all day, you bum. I can't wait to spank you. I will never let another man put his forehead on mine. I will react every time you do this. Next time, I’ll slap you in the face,” he said.
