Gibert Yvel knocks out Pedro Rizzo
Away from competition since his defeat to Josh Barnett in the first edition of Affliction, held in July 2008, Pedro Rizzo did not have a good return to the ring. The Brazilian was knocked out by the Dutchman Gilbert Yvel in the first round, at Ultimate Chaos, an event that shook Mississippi on Saturday night, in the United States. After starting the fight well with a takedown and punishing his opponent with ground and pounch, Pedrão ended up giving space to Yvel who got up and punished Rizzo with a strong sequence of punches while standing and ending with a knockout on the ground.
In the main fight of the night, WWE star Bobby Lashley gave Bop Sapp no chance and ended the fight in the first round, with the former American football player giving up after a series of punches in the guard.
Another highlight of the event was the victory of Affliction vice president Tom Atencio over Randy Hedderick by technical knockout in the second round. Check out the full results:
