Launched on June 17th, the video game “EA Sports UFC”, the official title of the main MMA organization on the planet for new generation consoles (Playstation 4 Xbox One), has already received its first update package, available since July 22nd. Among the new features available for download are the correction of several errors found throughout the game and the addition of new fighters, including the rooster champion. TJ Dillashaw – who was not part of the original cast.

In addition to Dillashaw, who created the unprecedented absence of a champion at the start of the game after his surprising victory over Renan Barao At UFC 173, bantamweight Takeya Mizugaki and welterweight Tyroon Woodley were also added to the roster. Regarding the corrected errors, the producer “Eletronic Arts” guarantees that it has put an end to “phantom knockouts” (in which an athlete simply falls knocked out for no apparent reason) and other problems related to the game's physics.

Other changes available in the update include the ability to touch gloves before the start of each round, the addition of the ability to perform a sprawl in the face of a takedown attempt, the end of recharging the resistance bar just by holding down the block button and the correction of the rare, but very annoying, error of the judge putting the fight back on its feet during a technical knockout or a submission.
