The meteoric rise of Conor McGregor can be explained both by the Irishman's skills inside the octagon and by his very characteristic behavior and his ease with the microphone in his hands. McGregor's style has drawn comparisons to another major UFC star today: Ronda Rousey. It was up to president Dana White to praise “The Notorious”, as he is known, and establish a relationship with the champion of the women's bantamweight category.

“I like how he (Conor McGregor) is ambitious. He just needs to relax a little more. I love the things he says. I'm telling you, it reminds me of Ronda Rousey. Him and visions of him remind me Ronda Rousey”, said the director in a conversation with the press after UFC Dublin, citing the recent “visions” of his promising future in the UFC mentioned by McGregor himself.

According to White, Ronda also has a habit of predicting her success. “Ronda Rousey also has a million views. She had this vision where she and I would bring women into the UFC. It's crazy when she talks about the things she's had visions of and then I hear him (McGregor) saying it now. It’s hilarious,” she commented. Both Rousey and McGregor arrived in the UFC last year and have been undefeated in the organization since then, the Irishman with three victories and the muse with four consecutive victories.
