O Jungle Fight there are new champions in the featherweight and welterweight categories. Eliseu Capoeira knocked out Itamar Rosa in the second round and won the welterweight belt. Already Renato Moicano finished Ismael Marreta in the first round and took the interim featherweight title. The fights were the main attraction of the 71st edition of the show, held on Saturday night (19), in São Paulo.
Moicano wins and asks his girlfriend to marry him
The fight started carefully, with Marreta trying to maintain his striking and Moicano trying to take the duel to the ground. There, Moicano took his back and, with just one arm, pressed his opponent's neck until he hit. With the victory, he now qualifies to compete for the full belt in the category against champion Alexandre Capitão, currently recovering from a knee injury.
After the triumph, Moicano surprised everyone by asking his girlfriend Priscila to marry him, drawing applause from the crowd.
Elizeu Capoeira knocks out Itamar Rosa and wins welterweight belt
Elizeu Capoeira won the welterweight belt in Jungle Fight in an impeccable presentation. With his sharp and well-known striking game, he sent the tough Itamar Rosa to the canvas in the first minutes of the fight. Now champion, he inherits the title that had been vacant since Rodrigo Monstro's move to the UFC.
