Duda Yankovich celebrates discharge after suffering a stroke during training: 'I thank the angels in heaven'

Serbian-Brazilian fighter fell ill during training at the end of last week and was rescued by Rodrigo Minotauro

After a big scare at the end of last week, fighter Duda Yankovich is now resting at home and is doing well. The Serbian-Brazilian, who suffered a stroke before training at the Team Nogueira gym, was medically discharged this Monday (14) and used her official profile on Twitter to celebrate the good news.

“I thank the angels in heaven and even more so those who walk among us and appear when we least expect it. How good it is to be at home to hug and kiss those we love most”, Duda published on the microblogging network. In addition to the message, the fighter also released a short video in which she appears with her pet dog.

According to reports, Duda Yankovic suffered a stroke before starting his training at Team Nogueira and quickly received medical help thanks to the intervention of Rodrigo Minotauro – who promptly called her private physiotherapist, received instructions and quickly took the athlete to a hospital. Born in Serbia, but naturalized Brazilian, Yankovich has a record of one win and three losses in professional MMA.
