Dana nails Gina Carano in the UFC and guarantees: 'She wants to fight Ronda'

Another dominant performance from Ronda Rousey, who won Alexis Davis in just 16 seconds on July 5th, it made the UFC accelerate the pace of signings and reinforce the women's bantamweight category. After getting it right with the muse Holly holm, Invicta FC champion, the organization is close to signing another muse: former Strikeforce belt holder Gina Carano. According to president Dana White, the agreement with Carano is just a matter of time.

“I’m going to meet Gina next week and wrap this up. It's just a matter of Lorenzo and I going to Los Angeles, getting in a room with her and her lawyer and closing the deal. There is no doubt about her wanting to fight. She wants. And she wants to fight Ronda”, said the leader, in an interview with the website of the North American channel “ESPN”.

At 32 years old, Gina Carano has a professional record of seven wins and just one loss, when she lost the Strikeforce featherweight division belt to the Brazilian Chris Cyborg. Since she retired from MMA in 2009, Gina has dedicated herself to her acting career. In Hollywood, the muse starred in, among other films, “Total Proof” (2011) and Fast and Furious 6 (2013).
