Rafael Sapo will have a fundamental fight for his continuity in the UFC on September 5th. The Brazilian was selected for the UFC Fight Night 50 card, which will be held in the city of Ledyard, Connecticut (USA), when he will face the American Chris Camozzi.

Sapo, 31 years old, has been a UFC athlete since 2010 and has a record of 17 wins, six losses and one draw in professional MMA. However, his career is not going through a good moment, as he comes from defeats to Tim Kennedy, in November last year, and Ed Herman, in May this year.

Camozzi, 27, is going through an even more delicate phase in Ultimate, with defeats in his last three fights, to Ronaldo Jacare, Lorenz Larkin and Bruno Carioca. Before that, he had been on a streak of four consecutive victories, including over the Brazilian Luiz Banha.

UFC Fight Night 50 will have, so far, the participation of two other Brazilians: in the main fight of the night, Jacaré will face Gegard Mousasi; already Charles of the Bronx will have the dream revenge against Nik lentz.
