Wand faces Rich Franklin today at UFC-99

Everything ready in Cologne, Germany for UFC-99. In the main fight of the night, the Brazilian Wanderlei Silva seeks rehabilitation in new category against former middleweight champion Rich Franklin.

“I'm trying really hard for this fight, I'm coming out on top and giving my best in every training session. I'm at my best, because I know the importance of this fight. This fight has two alternatives: either I knock out the guy, or he knocks me out, it's going to be a bloody fight... This fight won't be warm, because I'm not a warm fighter", guarantees Wanderlei, in a video interview published on his blog . “I respect the guy, but not now, he’s my opponent and I know I have to beat him on the 13th, because that’s very important for my career,” he added.
