Brendan Schaub already know who he would like to face to recover from his most recent defeat, suffered to Andrei Arlovski at UFC 174. According to the heavyweight, Frank mir would be his next ideal opponent, with whom he believes he would fight in a fight that would draw the public's attention.
According to Schaub, the rejection that he and Mir have in front of the fans would be a factor that would boost the impact of the fight. “I would love to fight Frank mir. Could you imagine what the promotion for this fight would be like? We are both arrogant. People would say 'I hate these two, I hope someone gets knocked out and they never fight again'. People hate both of us. I love Frank mir and I would love to fight him”, commented the fighter on the podcast “The Fighter and The Kid”, in which he serves as one of the presenters.
Former UFC heavyweight champion, Mir is on a streak of four consecutive defeats, the last of which was to alistair overeem, in February. Neither he nor Schaub are expected to return to the octagon.
