Shortly after suffering defeat to Rory McDonald at UFC 174, on June 14, Tyron woodley has already defined his next commitment inside the Octagon. He was chosen to replace his training partner Hector Lombard in the fight against Dong Hyun Kim, which will take place on August 23, in Macau.

For the fight, Woodley guaranteed that he will use the lessons learned in the defeat to MacDonald and prove that he still has what it takes to own the welterweight belt. “The defeat was a great learning experience for me. But without a doubt, I have what it takes to become UFC champion. I just can’t lose to myself,” he said, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Weekly”.
