Ronda Rousey On July 5th, she will defend her fourth UFC women's bantamweight belt. However, in the fight against Alexis Davis, the champion not only wants to win, but also convince people that she has a complete and versatile game for MMA.

In an interview with the North American broadcaster “FOX Sports”, Rousey declared that Davis is the ideal athlete for her to show her full potential. “This fight against Alexis will be great for me to prove my capabilities, as she has a jiu-jitsu black belt and is the type of person I've heard my whole life would submit me without any problems. There are always those who say that my striking is terrible and she excels in muay thai, so, any way I beat her, I will prove my ability”, she analyzed.

Rousey's fight against Davis is not surrounded by controversy, unlike what happened in the champion's fights against her arch-rival Miesha Tate. “Rowdy”, however, denied that this makes any difference in his approach. “It doesn't change anything for me, because I'm not an emotional fighter. I feel zero emotion when I go to fight. It could be against my best friend in the world or against my worst enemy. I would fight against Miesha Tate and Shayna Baszler in exactly the same way. I love Shayna and I can’t stand Miesha, but emotions have no bearing on how I fight,” she commented.

The fight between Rousey and Davis will be the co-main event of UFC 175, which will feature a middleweight title fight between Chris Weidman e Lyoto Machida. The event will be held in Las Vegas, in the United States.
