Legend Mirko Cro Cop showed that he can still do a lot of work in the fight world. At 39 years old, the Croatian, former Pride champion, made his triumphant debut at Glory, an exclusively striking event. He defeated the previously undefeated Jarrell Miller, last Saturday (21), in Los Angeles, in the United States.
Cro Cop won the three rounds working with combinations of kicks to the waist line and punches to his rival's face. At the end of three rounds, the Croatian took the fight with a unanimous decision from the judges.
Brazil had a representative at Glory 17, who was defeated in the ring. In a GP with eight athletes, valid for the middleweight title, Alex Pereira was beaten by Russian Artem Levin in the first round and left the competition. Then, Levin beat Belgian Filip Verlinden and Joe Schilling to take the belt.
