the paulista Thomas almeida is the new Legacy FC bantamweight champion. In the 32nd edition of the event, the Brazilian beat his compatriot Caio Machado still in the first round to take the title. The event took place last Friday night (20), in Bossier City, in the United States.
With sharper striking, Thomas achieved victory after a sequence of blows with a straight right and a left hook to the body. Caio felt the attack on his waist and fell to the ground. The referee ended the fight by declaring a technical knockout at 4:17.
The result marked Thomas' 17th MMA victory, which he has yet to lose as a professional. In turn, Caio lost for the first time, after four consecutive victories.
