This Thursday (19), the recording of the reality show came to an end in Las Vegas (USA). The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America, whose coaches are heavyweights Fabricio Werdum e Cain Velazquez and which will be shown in the second half of the year in the United States, Mexico and Brazil. On social media, the program's technicians and UFC president Dana White celebrated the end of the recordings and publicized the face-off between Werdum and Velasquez in the Octagon.
“We just ended the sinister first season of The Ultimate Fighter Latin America”, published Dana on her official profile on Twitter. Werdum, on the other hand, limited himself to informing that the six weeks of recording the reality show had ended. “Last day of recording TUF América Latina”, he wrote. Heavyweight champion and rival trainer of the Brazilian, Velasquez recorded the end of his participation in the program by reproducing a message from his friend Luke Rockhold, who was part of its technical team.
TUF Latin America has two teams, one with only Mexican athletes and led by Cain Velazquez and another with athletes from other Latin American countries and led by Fabricio Werdum. The program begins airing in the second half of the year and has its finals scheduled for November 15th, at UFC 180, in Mexico City. The event also hosts a duel between coaches Werdum and Velasquez, in a fight valid for the heavyweight belt.
