Rafael dos Anjos faces Ben Henderson in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 49

After beating Jason High on June 7th, Rafael dos Anjos He already knows who his next opponent will be in the Octagon, and he's a big name in the lightweight category. On August 23, in Tulsa (USA), Rafael faces the former champion Ben henderson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 49.

At 29, Rafael dos Anjos has a record of 21 wins and seven losses. Currently in fifth place in the lightweight rankings, Rafael is coming off a victory over Jason High on the main card of UFC Fight Night 42. At the same event, Ben henderson submitted Russian Rustam Khabilov in the main fight of the night. In his career, “Smooth”, as he is known, has 21 triumphs and only three setbacks.

UFC Fight Night 49 takes place on August 23, at the BOK Arena, in Tulsa (USA). The event marks the return of the most famous octagon on the planet to the city after almost 20 years. Ultimate's last appearance in the second largest city in Oklahoma was at the distant UFC 4, in December 1994. In addition to the duel between Henderson and Rafael, three other fights have already been announced for the event: Tim Elliot x Wilson reis, Thiago Pitbull x Jordan Mein and Chas Skelly x Tom Niinimaki.
