“Sometimes we think that training a lot is good, but those who understand know that rest is part of it. I was coming off a fight in February and I changed my training, which was great for me. I thought I was going into a fight as if I had trained for six months. I asked, I wanted to come back soon, I thought it would be good and I started training very hard again. We try to dose it enough to avoid overtraining, but the body feels it a little. (Rogério) Camões certainly did an excellent job, he tried his best to get me in excellent shape so that I wouldn't go into overtraining, he gave me a lot of rest, but we ended up feeling a little bit. That’s what we have most in mind right now”, revealed Silva, in an interview with the radio program “Mundo da Luta”.

We can improve this, do it right, I will do exams every 15 days, I'm on the right track. By having the right path, we can better evaluate our performance”, he concluded.
