With two victories in two fights in Ultimate, the Brazilian Gabriel Marretinha believes that it is time to take bigger steps within the organization. “I'm very happy to be fighting for the second time here in the UFC. I won with two guillotines in two consecutive fights, so I'm very happy”, said Marretinha.
Asked about the rival he would like to face next, Marretinha avoided the traditional 'I'll fight whoever the UFC wants' and called out the name of the experienced fighter. Neil Magny.
“He is someone who is in the top 15, who has been among the best and I think it will be a good fight. He's an aggressive fighter and I want to fight someone who attacks me. This way, I can test myself”, concluded Gabriel.
Undefeated in professional MMA with 15 victories, Marretinha ran over the two rivals he faced so far in the organization, Mounir Lazezz and Trevin giles, winning both with a guillotine before the second minute of the fight.
