Highlight in the edition of 'Bellator x RIZIN 2', held last Sunday (30), in Saitama (JAP), Patricky Pitbull revealed the details of the confusion involving Brazilians in the event's changing rooms. Exclusively to SUPER FIGHTS, the star of the North American organization pointed out his version of the fight with Kleber Koike after Patrício's setback to Chihiro Suzuki. The Tupiniquim explained what motivated the start of the fight that took place behind the scenes.
“I came here through Mikura Asakura, who is a phenomenon here in Japan. He already fought against Floyd Mayweather, he is a star of the YouTube, has several companies, highly successful and also fights MMA. (…) I came to promote a fight almost two months ago. I talked to a Brazilian friend of mine, Fernando, to train with him. He's a left-handed guy. I just wanted to do some training so I wouldn't 'lose around', and he said that, unfortunately, he couldn't, but he wanted me to go train in Japan with him. (…) The Japanese was short and thick: 'I'll pay'. I came here (Japan) with three weeks left before the fight (initially, Patricky would face A. J. McKee at 'Bellator x RIZIN 2). Kleber (Koike), unfortunately, hurt himself. He made a video on his channel YouTube him talking bad about us. I was sad and thought it was cowardly. We always greeted each other. I and my brother (Patrick Pitbull) we have always been respectful. Patrício always raised his ball here in Japan”, said Patricky.

Inserted in the Bellator lightweight tournament (up to 70,3kg), Patricky then narrated his version of the episode that culminated in the confusion.
“I was in my brother's corner (who faced Chichiro Suzuki moments after Patricky overcame Robert Satoshi), not in the corner, but a few seats behind. I saw that Kleber went all dressed up to be in the front row. He was watching the fight and, unfortunately, what happened to my brother happened (the legend was defeated by a knockout in the first round), and I see Kleber jumping and celebrating. I was already irritated with him for his statement. YouTube. When I saw him celebrating, I ran into the ring to check on my brother. (…) I saw that he was fine, I went to the corner, pointed at Kleber and said: 'you're a dick in the ass, coward, and I'm going to break your face. False'. He was a little quiet. When Patrício was getting down from the ring, I thought we were going in the direction he (Koike) was going, but he had a security guard and told us to go the other way. When my brother took the opposite direction, I went after Kleber. He was sitting. (…) 'You keep talking shit on the internet, talk in front of us'. (…) I pushed both hands on his chest. As a man, in front of him. I waited for him to get up. (…) I went into the locker room, after half an hour, a coach said: 'get in touch'. I was sitting backwards. When I turned around, he (Kleber) was already jumping with his feet on my chest. I was getting up, fell on the stretcher and the chaos started. About 30 people in the locker room. It wasn't one-on-one. It was in cowardice, behind his back. Because, if it had been one-on-one, I would have 'slammed' him in the face. Patrício also put a guillotine choke on Kleber. After the kick, security didn't let us get close to him. It took more than 20 minutes”, explained Patricky.
In the event, the lightweight, who would face A. J. McKee In the main fight, he faced Roberto Satoshi, who replaced the American, who was injured on the eve of the clash. With the triumph, the Potiguar advanced to the semifinals of the category tournament.
