Escalated to face Mirko cro cop on his return to Ultimate, Mustapha Al Turk shows a mix of confidence in victory and concern about the Croatian's left, which he faces at UFC-99, on June 13th, in Cologne, Germany. In an interview with the official UFC website, the fighter analyzed his preparation for the fight.
“My first reaction was: 'Oh my God', I have to change my strategy to fight a 'southern duck' (as left-handed fighters are known). At the beginning it was complicated, but now it hasn't been a problem, despite everything”, said the Englishman, who sees this fight as a great opportunity in his career.
“I see the fight as a great opportunity to make a name for myself in the UFC. Beating Cro-Cop would be a huge victory for me. I'm not expecting an easy victory by any means, but I'm going to Germany to win. I am confident that my hand will be raised at the end of this fight”, concluded Mustapha.
