Patricky Pitbull faces Roberto Satoshi at 'Bellator x Rizin 2' this Saturday

Almost eight months after the first event, the partnership between Bellator and Rizin continues for another edition. This Saturday night (29), at the Saitama Super Arena, in Japan, the two organizations will come together again and bring a card with five fights scheduled. Highlight for the duel between Patricky Pitbull and Roberto Satoshi, for the lightweight GP (up to 70,3kg) and the fight for the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) between the Japanese Kyoji Horiguchi and Makoto Shinryu

Former Bellator lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Patricky returns to activities after being dethroned by the Russian Usman Nurmagomedov, Khabib's cousin. Despite having held the belt, the Brazilian's stage is not good and Pitbull has suffered three defeats in his last four fights, only competing for the title due to a 'demand' from the former champion, his brother Patrício.

On the other side of the cage, there will be Rizin lightweight champion Roberto Satoshi, who agreed to replace the American A. J. McKee with just a few days left until the event. Unlike his rival, Satoshi is going through a great phase in his career and has suffered only one defeat in his last seven fights, against 'Mercenário' himself, in December 2022.

In the co-main fight, Bellator will put its flyweight title (up to 56.7kg) up for grabs for the first time. Japanese star Kyoji Horiguchi, former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) of the organization, will face his compatriot Makoto Shinryu, who has not been defeated since April 2018. The duel promises to excite the public that will be present at the Saitama Super Arena.
