Not even a past of glories in the Octagon is a guarantee of a good relationship with UFC president Dana White. Tito Ortiz, the first big star of Ultimate under the management of Zuffa and today persona non-grata in the organization, he was the first Hall of Famer to fall out with the manager. Now, tension has grown between Dana and multi-champion Randy Couture, who signed last year with Bellator to run a reality show equivalent to The Ultimate Fighter in the rival organization. Couture was targeted by White during his comments about Rich Franklin becoming vice president of One FC.

“I have no problem with Rich Franklin. He asked to talk to us and told us about the situation. I will never criticize someone for wanting to improve their life. And all the guys I had problems with, Randy Couture and the others... Randy didn't have the courage to sit down with us face to face and talk about what he wanted to do”, said the director, in an interview with the website “Mixed Martial Arts”. . “In fact, Randy Couture will lie to your face when this happens. Apparently, Randy plays like a nice guy. But the reality is that he is not like that. He's not a good guy. You can ask anyone who has had to deal with him”, he added.
