Miocic says he doesn't worry about pressure from Brazilian fans: 'I'm going to fight with Maldonado'

In an interview with SUPER LUTAS, the heavyweight talked about his expectations for the main fight of TUF Brasil 3 Final

MiocicRanked seventh in the UFC heavyweight rankings, Stipe Miocic expected to win junior gypsy, in the main fight of TUF Brasil 3 Final, to qualify for the category belt. However, with the Brazilian's injury, the North-American of Croatian descent will face the fellow Brazilian athlete. Fabio Maldonado, a fighter from the light heavyweight division who accepted the challenge in another category above.

Without caring about the change of opponent and the possible loss of impact in the event of a triumph, Miocic revealed that he is only thinking about winning his fight on Saturday, “I'm not worried about what victory will take me. I’m just worried about beating him, and I’m going to beat him”, said the fighter, in an interview with SUPER FIGHTS

The North American also commented on the pressure that will come from the stands at the Ibirapuera gym, but for him the big challenge will be Fabio Maldonado.  “I'm going to try to get there and fight, without worrying (about the fans). It’s a guy (Maldonado) who I have to deal with on Saturday,” he added.
