TUF heavyweight finalist, Cara de Sapato is considering fighting as a middleweight

If you win Vitor miranda next Saturday (31), at TUF Brasil 3 Final, Antonio Shoe Guy will become champion of the reality show in the heavyweight category. Despite being just one step away from winning, playing with a weight limit of up to 120 kg, the athlete does not project his future in the division. In an interview with SUPER FIGHTS, this Friday (29), Shoe Face revealed that he will not continue as a heavyweight and that he is even considering moving down two categories and acting as a middleweight.

“I only fought at heavyweight for the opportunity to be in the (TUF) house. I'm light heavyweight. At home, I weighed 95 kg, that is, very light even for light heavyweight. We're still deciding whether I'll stay at light heavyweight or move up to middleweight. It's something I'm going to talk about with my doctors and my coaches. I can start in the 93 kg category and then go down to 84 kg (in the middleweight division). It’s something I’m still going to decide and see what’s best for me”, said the fighter.

This Saturday (31), in São Paulo (SP), Antonio Shoe Guy, the only representative of Team Wanderlei in the decision, faces Vitor miranda for the TUF Brasil 3 title in the heavyweight category. Among the middleweights, the champion will be decided in the fight between Warlley alves and Márcio Lyoto. The fights are part of the main card of TUF Brasil 3 Final, held at Ginásio do Ibirapuera. In the main fight of the night, Fábio Maldonado moves up to the heavyweight category and faces Stipe Miocic.
