With the support of Charles do Bronx, Elves Brener achieves an incredible comeback and wins by knockout at UFC Vegas 76

The 'Chute Boxe' lightweight put up with Guram Kutateladze's good performance and knocked out the Georgian at the end of the third round

The spirit of 'Chute Boxe Diego Lima' was present at the UFC Las Vegas 76. With the support of the former champion Charles of the Bronx, light weight (up to 70,3kg) elves brener managed a spectacular comeback in a fight he was losing and beat Georgian Guram Kutateladze with a knockout in the third round.

With the triumph, Elves remains undefeated in the organization and won his second consecutive fight wearing Ultimate gloves. The Brazilian has an MMA record of 15 wins and three losses.

THE FIGHT

Guram started the duel by kicking at Elves' waistline and landing a cross on the Brazilian, who soon returned it in kind. Brener soon stuck to the Georgian and managed the takedown, staying on top in guard. From below, Guram used his legs to push the Brazilian away and prevent him from gaining control. The Georgian managed to stay on his feet around halfway through the round. Brener tried to get closer, but was repelled by Guram.

The Brazilian continued to insist and quickly managed another takedown, however, this time, without keeping his rival trapped for long. In the final seconds, Guram landed a beautiful elbow on the fence that shook the Brazilian. The Georgian put pressure on, went for a blitz and landed another blow that knocked Brener out. The Brazilian was literally saved by the bell in the first round.

Elves returned to the second round already looking for striking, however, Guram landed a beautiful counterattack knee that gave Brener a slight shake. The Brazilian still looked dizzy, the Georgian took advantage of the pressure and managed a good sequence of ground and pound that almost made the referee stop the fight. Even though he was bleeding profusely, Elves continued to move forward with full momentum, however, the Georgian used it well and proved to be accurate in his counterattacks.

The fight continued to be electrifying, with both fighters exchanging intense blows at close range. Guram used and abused elbows and the Brazilian began to show fatigue after so many blows. The Georgian ended the second half dominating and striking with ground and pound.

Elves returned for the last round willing not to hand victory over to his rival. The Brazilian looked for combinations, he managed to rock the Georgian, however, Guram looked for a grappling fight so as not to take any risks. Elves landed a good sequence of blows that shook his rival again. In the final stretch, Elves landed a cross that caught the tip of Guram's chin, who already fell down asking for help. The Chute Boxe athlete needed just a couple more blows before the referee interrupted, which ended the fight giving the Brazilian the victory.

A striking specialist, Luana was forced to go to the ground in the first round. After Petrovic took her down, the Brazilian showed intelligence, managed the transition and dominated much of the round, staying on top and using ground and pound. In the second half, Petrovic managed to impose her grappling in a more forceful way, keeping the Brazilian locked down for a good part of the round and landing a good cross that gave Luana a slight shake.

In the third round, Luana came back more aggressive and looking for a knockout and even after a good start, Petrovic managed to pin the Brazilian to the cage and take her down. On the ground, Petrovic stuck to the Brazilian's leg and looked for the leg lock until the last seconds. In the judges' decision, victory for Luana Dread in the unanimous decision of the judges.

Even with a larger and more toned physique, Alexander Romanov managed to win Blagoy Ivanov and returned to the path of victory. The Moldovan imposed himself on his rival in striking, achieved a beautiful and important takedown in the second round to dominate the ground and pound and only managed in the last part.

Romanov is recovering in the organization after two consecutive defeats and now has a record of 17 victories and two setbacks. On the other hand, Ivanov continues his ordeal in the organization, suffering his fourth defeat in the last five fights and his MMA record now stands at 19 positive results and six negative results.
