Brazilian CBJJE defines its champions

The second day of competitions at the Brazilian Sports Jiu-Jitsu Confederation (CBJJE) Brazilian Championship was full of emotions. The disputes between the blue belts and the absolute purple and brown belts excited the public who attended the Ginásio Mauro Pinheiro, in the Ibirapuera complex, in São Paulo. Among the highlights of the day, Sanderson Dantas came out on top in the brown absolute, Claudia gadelha in the Purple Absolute and Pablo de Oliveira in the blue.

Brown Absolutes
Another of the beasts from the Northeast, Sanderson Dantas (Brasa) came out on top in the brown belt absolute. Sanderson had to beat three opponents to do so. After winning two fights on points, the fighter faced the tough Luiz André (Nova União) in the final. The fight was tied at 2-2, until Sanderson landed a standing American joust, a blow that made his opponent give up.

In the women's category, Talita Andréa (Cícero Costa/Barbosa) came out on top. The fighter, who has experience in MMA combat, made the final directly against Elisângela Fernandes (Checkmat). The victory came with a rear naked choke after taking the back.

Purple Absolutes
The purple belt absolute champion was Wesley Cezar (Brasa). After having four matches, Wesley faced Kaue Damasceno (Nova União) in the final. The fighter was winning on points when he managed to grab Kaue's back and lock Kaue's neck with a choke and was able to celebrate.

In the women's category, the one who came out on top was Claudinha gadelha. The Nova União fighter, who has stood out in all competitions, had a total of four fights. In the decision, the heavier Ludymila Espindola faced her. The victory came 2-0, with a fall.

Another who has stood out in competitions, having won weight and absolute in the CBJJ Brazilian Championship, Alberto Emiliano (Nova União) did well once again, now in the CBJJE Brazilian Championship. After failing and losing in the weight category, Pablo came back hungry for victory in the absolute and came out on top. He won a total of six fights. In the decisive match, against Leandro Araujo (Tanque), he submitted him with an armbar from half guard. Before that, he had also submitted three other opponents.

In the featherweight division, Denílson Bischiliari (Atos) pleased master Ramon Lemos. With a mohawk haircut, he also showed style on the mat, submitting Marco de Oliveira (Cia Paulista) in the final with an armbar from half guard. Another highlight was featherweight champion Bruno Pucci (Checkmat/Curitiba). The fighter, who also won the CBJJ Brazilian Championship, submitted two of his five opponents. In the final, against Marcos José (Lótus), the victory was 8-0

In the lightweight division, the one who came out on top was Ricardo Lima (Barbosa), who had five fights and beat Rodrigo Campos (FBJJE) in the gold fight by advantages. Christophe Goes (Checkmat) was the middleweight champion. Having also had a total of five fights, he beat Leandro Batista (Gracie Barra BH) by two points in the final. In the heavyweight category, the great champion was Murilo Lopes (Impacto). After going through three opponents, Lopes, who is just 17 years old, submitted Paulo Cesar Jacinto (Franco Penteado) with a choke and secured his place at the top of the podium.
