The MMA fighter Ronys Torres was involved in a confusion that occurred last Saturday (24), in the match between Princesa do Solimões and Nacional, in Manaus, valid for the final of the Amazonense football championship.

During halftime of the game, there was a disagreement between the managers and technical committees of the two teams, leading to a fight. Torres, a fanatical fan of Princesa do Solimões, claimed to have intervened in the confusion solely with the aim of breaking up the fight.

“The discussion started between Raphael [Maddy, director of Pricesa] and the wardrobe [do Nacional]. In fact, Raphael was just talking to their coach. Then their wardrobe came and offended Raphael and the confusion began. In fact, with the heat of the game and the crowd, I went in to avoid any kind of fight. I am completely against any type of violence”, said the fighter, in an interview with the website Globoesporte.com.

The match, which ended 5-1 for Nacional, also saw a huge fight between the players in the final minutes, which left striker Leonardo, from the winning team, unconscious on the field.
