Even without a big rivalry against TJ Dillashaw, Renan Barao He made a point of asserting himself as champion against his challenger at the official weigh-in for UFC 175, held this Friday (23) in Las Vegas (USA). After passing the scales calmly, reaching the 61,2 kg limit for the bantamweight category, the Brazilian went to face his opponent with his fist clenched and raised, placing it on Dillashaw's chin. The North American did not let it go and raised his arms, positioning them close to the champion's face.

Despite the moment of apprehension, the protagonists of the main fight of the night greeted each other normally. Still on stage, Barão stated that he does not distinguish between Dillashaw and his previous challengers. “I see him as the same as the others. For me there is no difference. I am trained 100% and I came here to do my best”, said Renan, in an interview with the official Ultimate commentator Jon Anik.
