After several casualties due to injuries at UFC-98, now it was UFC-99's turn to lose its first athlete. The heavy weight Heath herring, who would face the undefeated Cain Velazquez, ended up being forced to leave the card due to a health problem.
According to information from UFC officials, the replacement will be announced this Wednesday, but there is speculation in the name of Mirko cro cop, who will return to Ultimate at this same event and was initially scheduled to face Mustapha Al Turk.
UFC-99 takes place on June 13th, in Cologne, Germany.
