Veteran Renzo Gracie and his cousin Igor were released from prison after paying US$10 bail on Monday night (19). The information was passed on by a New York City court official to the website of the North American broadcaster FOX Sports.

Renzo, 47 years old, is one of the most famous names in the legendary Gracie family, having already performed in events such as PRIDE and UFC against names such as Dan Henderson, Matt hugs, Kazushi Sakuraba and B.J. Penn. He and Igor were arrested in the early hours of Monday, at approximately 1:30 am, after get involved in a fight outside a nightclub in New York.

Renzo, Igor and five other people are being charged with second-degree gang assault, according to the New York Police Department. “Collective aggression” is characterized when it occurs through two or more people.
