Last Saturday (17), the gymnasium Central Favelas, located under the Negrão de Lima Viaduct in Madureira (RJ), was the stage for Jungle CUFA. In the main fight of the night, in a fight valid for the flyweight category (up to 57 kg), Paulinho Capoeira from Manaus defeated the previously undefeated Antônio Ceará and achieved his second victory in the largest MMA organization in Latin America.
After the triumph, Capoeira spoke about his chances for the flyweight division belt. The man from Manaus revealed that he dreams of winning, but preferred a chance at the title to fellow countryman Rayner Silva, former champion of the category and who recently lost the belt to Nildo Katchal. “I'm very happy, I trained a lot for this fight and everything went well. I'm going in search of that belt. I want to see my friend Rayner get it back and after he leaves, I want it for myself,” he said.
