Jacaré's agent wants to fight for the title or against Vitor Belfort

Gilberto Faria complained about the fact that Brazilians have only faced athletes ranked below him

After beating Chris Camozzi, Yushin Okami and Francis Carmont since debuting in the UFC, Ronaldo Jacare He's already prepared for bigger challenges in the Octagon. At least that's what his manager Gilberto Faria guarantees. The agent believes that Jacaré should face better ranked opponents in his next fight, which could mean a fight for the title or a fight against his compatriot Vitor belfort.

“We are fighting against guys who are behind us in the rankings. It’s time to unleash the beast”, said Faria in an interview with the program “UFC Tonight”, the organization’s official newspaper on North American TV. Currently, Jacaré occupies fourth place in the middleweight rankings, ahead of the Brazilian are: Vitor belfort, Lyoto Machida, Anderson Silva and the champion Chris Weidman.

At 34 years old, Ronaldo “Jacaré” Souza has a record of 20 wins, three losses and one fight without result. The Espírito Santo native based in Amazonas, former champion of the extinct Strikeforce, has won six consecutive victories in his career and has been undefeated since debuting in Ultimate.
