Current seventh place in the Ultimate welterweight rankings and on a roll after expanding his undefeated streak to seven consecutive victories with the triumph over Erick silva at UFC Fight Night 40, last Saturday (10), Matt Brown is excited about a title shot. After the event in Cincinnati (USA), Brown took the opportunity to demand from President Dana White a fight against the champion of the under-77 kg division John hendricks. The images were released by the UFC's official profile on Instagram.
“Dana, am I going to fight Johny (Hendricks) next or not?” asked Brown as the manager prepared to give an interview to the organization's partner TV channel in the United States. “I don’t know, man…”, replied the president, evasively. Afterwards, the American continued talking to White and stated that there is no limit to his ambitions.
With the victory over Erick silva at home last Saturday (10), Matt Brown reached seven consecutive victories in Ultimate – against Chris Cope, Stephen Thompson, Luis Beição, Mike “Quick” Swick, Jordan Mein, Mike pyle and, of course, Erick silva.
