In September, the UFC could land in the ninth different city in Brazil. After Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Jaraguá do Sul, Fortaleza, Barueri, Goiânia and Natal, it may be the federal capital Brasília's turn to host an edition of Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The information, released on the website of the “Combate” channel, also shows that the event in the Federal District will take place on September 13th, as Ultimate would have reserved the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium, with capacity for around 11 thousand people, including the 1st and 17th of the month.
This is not the first time that Ultimate has tried to hold an event in Brasília. In 2013, the specialized press announced that the capital had been chosen by the organization to host UFC Fight Night 28, on September 4th. The event, however, ended up taking place in Belo Horizonte (MG), with Glover Teixeira e Ryan bader as the main fight.
