Back to the UFC after a short stint at 'Eagle FC', Kevin Lee he has a date and opponent for his return to MMA. An old promise of the organization, the North American will be an opponent of Rinat Fakhretdinov, undefeated Russian in the company, on July 1, in the city of Las Vegas (USA). The information was released by 'MMA Underground'.

Former challenger for the interim UFC lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), Lee is looking to achieve success in his second stint with the company. For his next commitment, the fighter will appear in the welterweight category (up to 77,1kg), which has Leon edwards as champion.

Responsible for welcoming Kevin, Fakhretdinov will fight his third duel in the organization. In the first two tests, the athlete left the octagon with a positive result, according to the judges' decision.

Professional in MMA since 2013, Lee last worked in March 2022, for the company chaired by Khabib Nurmagomedov. On that occasion, the North American surpassed the veteran Diego Sanchez by points.
