Renzo, Kyra and Marcinho Feitosa leaving the service in SP
A mass in honor of Ryan Gracie was held yesterday in the late afternoon of São Paulo in the São José parish. Around 200 people attended the ceremony, everyone wore the same white shirt, made especially for the celebration. With a photo of the athlete, teacher and fighter with his guard up and an open smile, the shirt had the words: “When man is confused with legend, myth is born.” Among other family members, his brother Renzo Gracie and his niece Kyra Gracie were present.
Today, Friday, it will be the locals' turn to pay another tribute to Ryan. The seventh day mass takes place at Paróquia Santa Mônica, on Rua Ataulfo de Paiva, 527, Leblon, at 18:30 pm.
