Anderson Silva he owned the middleweight belt from 2006 to 2013 until he was overtaken precisely by Chris Weidman at UFC 162, in July, where he lost an unbeaten streak of 17 victories and was defeated again in the rematch, at UFC 168, in December, when he ended up fracturing his leg at the beginning of the second round.
