Joe Warren defeats Rafael Morcego and wins interim Bellator belt

In the 118th edition of the event, held on Friday night (02), in Atlantic City, in the United States, Warren beat Brazilian Rafael Morcego in a unanimous decision by the judges. The interim title dispute took place due to an injury to Dudu Dantas, who couldn't put his belt on the line.

Although Rafael started the fight well, with a variety of takedowns and submission attempts, he opened up the front in the first two rounds. However, the North American made his best physical preparation count and recovered in the following splits to take the win in a triple 48×47.
