After beating Jessamyn Duke at UFC 172, Brazilian Bethe “Pitbull” Correia went public to complain about the champion's stance Ronda Rousey, who was in her rival's corner and refused to greet her after the fight. Bethe's words reached Ronda's ears and the muse countered the criticism, stating that she is willing to resolve the issue inside the octagon – and even had time to provoke her rival Miesha Tate.

“I'm saying, if Miesha Tate can get a title shot, and she hadn't even won a single fight in the UFC yet, so this girl (Bethe), who is undefeated and beat two of my friends, could be a very interesting fight for me”, said the champion , in an interview with the “Fighter and the Kid” podcast. Despite showing interest in a fight against Pitbull, Ronda took the opportunity to make a revelation: the Brazilian must next face veteran Shayna Baszler – Rousey's friend and training partner.

PUBLICITY:

“The most interesting thing is that after the fight, she (Bethe) raised four fingers and lowered one (mentioning having defeated one of the athletes from the 'Four Horsewomen' group). It's a smart thing. That's what they need to do. The girls are taking the right path to attract people's attention (to the women's division). So, Shayna (Baszler) challenged Bethe and I think they will fight next. I don't know exactly when this fight will happen, but yes, she and Shayna (will fight)”, concluded Rousey.
