After much controversy in recent days, Ultimate finally confirmed the official date of the duel between Deiveson Figueiredo e Manel kape. In an announcement made on social media, the organization's president Dana White made it official that the two flyweight athletes (up to 56,7kg) will measure up in the UFC 290, scheduled for July 08th, in Las Vegas (USA).

Current number in the flyweight rankings, Deiveson comes from four consecutive fights against the Mexican Brandon Moreno, being defeated in the last confrontation, held in UFC 283, last January. The Brazilian athlete has a record of 21 triumphs and three setbacks in professional MMA.
One of the main promises in the under-56,7kg division, Manel is enjoying a good moment in his career with three consecutive victories, two of which were by knockout. The 29-year-old Angolan has a record in the sport of 18 positive results and six negative results.
Scheduled for July 08th, the UFC 290 will feature two title fights in its main fights. For the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), Alexander Volkanovsky will fight to unify his belt against the interim champion Yair Rodriguez. In the second most important clash of the night, Brandon Moreno will make his first defense of his reign against the Brazilian Alexandre pantoja.
