Professor who awarded the black belt to Matt serra, the brazilian Renzo Gracie commented on the career of his pupil, who is about to face Matt hugs at UFC-98. The 42-year-old teacher and fighter criticized those who claim that Serra's professional history was surrounded by luck.
“People are mistaken about Serra. In our sport things don't happen by chance and luck has nothing to do with it. Serra is one of the best fighters I've ever seen in my life. He has a big heart, never gives up and can win a fight at any time. His jiu-jitsu is incredible and his punching power is very strong. This will be a great fight (against Hughes) and I can't wait to see it”, said the black belt to the American website Tri State Fighter.
The duel between Hughes and Serra will take place at UFC-98, on May 23, in Las Vegas in the United States.
