Last week, the UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey made a controversial statement about rival Cristiane Cyborg, in which he referred to the Brazilian as a “thing”. Ronda's words caused outrage in part of the MMA community, and even led to a public action of repudiation by a sporting goods brand. On Tuesday night (22), it was the turn of George Prajin, Cyborg's official representative, to express his displeasure with Rousey's attacks.
In a long outburst published by the North American website “MMA Junkie”, Prajin accused Ronda of hurting Cyborg with her words because she would not be able to do the same physically if they were to face each other. The representative also stated that, unlike her rival, the Brazilian does not need to resort to insults or offenses.

First, Chris Cyborg She is a beautiful woman and has a huge heart. She has a mother, a father and a beautiful niece that she has raised since he was born. Ronda is not only trying to hurt Cris, but she is hurting them too. This is a sporting fight, there is no reason for the hate attacks. Do you want to hurt Cris? So get her in the cage. I challenge you!
Chris Cyborg There is no need to resort to personal insults. She wants to hurt Ronda physically and not verbally. Ronda's statements of hate show that she fears Cris, because she knows that she has to attack her verbally to hurt her, whereas she cannot physically. She knows she doesn't stand a chance against Cris in a fight.
First, she ran to the bantamweight division to escape her, hoping she would never face her. Then, when fans started demanding the fight, she hid behind her weight division. Now that Cris is coming after her, she's building the excuse of excuses – fighting Cris wouldn't be fair.
She's right about one thing: it wouldn't be fair. And it has nothing to do with performance-enhancing drugs. It's because Cris is much better than her. And agreeing with Ronda would be criminal. In fact, if it weren't a consensual fight, it would be considered a crime (mentioning the beating).
Ronda is making serious accusations that Cris is abusing steroids. Unless she has proof, she is having a reckless disregard for the truth!
Ronda knows that Cris underwent four consecutive drug tests, including a random drug test carried out in March of this year. All Ronda is doing is trying to build an excuse since Cris would dominate her in the cage. That's why she lies and says Cris is a cheat.
Cris is definitely not using drugs to enhance his performance!
