Brazilian Vagner Rocha, who had a brief stint in the UFC between 2011 and 2012, is back in the biggest MMA organization in the world. “Ceará”, as he is known, received a last-minute invitation to perform at the 172nd event, which will be held on April 26th, in the city of Baltimore, in the United States.

His opponent will be Joe Ellenberger, twin brother of the welterweight fighter Jake ellenberger. The American's original opponent, Yancy Medeiros, was called up to replace the injured player Bobby Green in the fight against Jim Miller, on the main card of the same event.

Rocha, 31 years old, had three fights in the UFC. On his debut, he lost to Donald Cerrone by unanimous decision of the judges. Months later, he submitted Cody McKenzie with a rear naked choke. In early 2012, however, he lost again, this time being knocked out by Jonathan Brookins, which led to his dismissal from the UFC. Since then, the Brazilian has had four fights at the North American Fight Time event, winning all of them, three of them by submission.

Ellenberger, two years younger, will make his UFC debut. He has a record of 14 wins and just one loss, to current Ultimate fighter Justin Salas.
