The Brazilian Fabricio Werdum and Hawaiian Travis Browne have a common goal: challenge the champion Cain Velazquez for the UFC heavyweight belt. But before a title fight, the fighters will measure up to decide who will have the opportunity to have a shot at the title. The clash will be the main attraction of UFC on FOX 11, an event that takes place this Saturday (19), in Orlando, in the United States.
Werdum was announced as a challenger at the end of 2013, but, as the champion suffered an injury, he ended up agreeing to compete in one more fight so as not to be away from events for too long.
Aware of the risk of losing and moving away from the belt, the Brazilian only thinks about following his combat strategy to the letter. “It will be five rounds, 25 minutes inside the Octagon. So I'm going to get advantages in clinches and exchanges at close range”, explained the gaucho, guaranteeing that he won't be hasty in taking down the Hawaiian and exposing himself to elbows.
