The UFC's first visit to the city of Orlando, in the North American state of Florida, is focused on innovation. For the traditional press conference that takes place two days before the event, the organization chose to use the mansion of former NBA (professional basketball league) star Shaquille O'Neal as its headquarters. Valued at around US$250 million (approximately R$557 million), the house was adapted by Ultimate to receive fighters and journalists. On your official profile on Instagram, the UFC released a video with details of the location.
The images released show some shirts of Shaq, as the former basketball player is known, from the teams he played for, such as the Orlando Magics (where he began his career), Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers (in which the athlete even appears holding the NBA championship trophy) and LSU Tigers, his college team. Furthermore, the images also show the symbol of Superman, a fictional character that O'Neal is fond of. Finally, the organization also showed the facilities used for the press conference, with the bench, chairs, microphones and the banner with the sponsors in the background.
