Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia has already signed his contract to face Rodrigo Minotauro at UFC-81 “Breaking Point”, on February 2, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight will be valid for the open title of the American category, since the departure of Randy Couture.
Monte Cox, businessman who represents “Maine – aic” – states that all that is needed is Minotauro’s signature for the fight to take place.
“Tim signed the contract, and we haven't heard anything else about it – whether Nogueira signed his contract or what,” said the manager.
