John hendricks, who recently became the UFC welterweight champion, will not hold the belt for long. At least that's what you think Jake ellenberger, who stated that the new title holder has already shown some loopholes that can be taken advantage of.
Ellenberger, ranked fifth in the category in the official UFC rankings, said he already knows the recipe for defeating Hendricks. “To beat GSP, everything would need to happen punctually and precisely. With Johny, if you threaten him with your strength and can dictate the pace, he is definitely beatable. I don't see Johny as the champion in a year's time”, said the fighter, in an interview with the website of the North American broadcaster “ESPN”.
“The Juggernaut”, as he is known, will face, in May, Robbie Lawler, who comes from a defeat against Hendricks in the fight that was worth the belt. Even focused on his next commitment, Ellenberger sees the current situation in the welterweight category with positive eyes. “There are a lot of good guys and there are great opportunities for anyone in the top 10. I don't think about it too much because I'm focused on the fight, but it's an exciting period for me”, he celebrated.
