UFC Fight Night 39, held last Friday (11) in Abu Dhabi, was not only a reason for joy for Roy Nelson. Despite having achieved one of the most impressive knockouts of his career against Rodrigo Minotauro, the American confirmed that he suffered a broken hand during the fight.

As a result, Nelson will need to undergo surgery, which should happen this Thursday. There is still no prediction of when the fighter will be able to return to training, but it is already known that he will be away from activity for a few months.
