This Saturday, the 12th, at Talent 8, six fights were completed on the ground, five of which were on the main card alone. And there was no shortage of knockouts on the show, with six fights being completed in this way. Among them the main one of the night, with Arthur Olivieira dispatching Fernando Neto in the second round. With the triumph, he guaranteed the right to challenge the bantamweight champion (under 61kg) Anderson Berinja. Now, Talent MMA is heading to Paraná, holding its second edition in the state on May 10th, in São José dos Pinhais.
To win the title shot, Arthur must also overcome the large crowd that his opponent brought to the gym. Born in Valinhos, Neto started the duel better, but saw Arthur return for a devastating second round. The victory came via an armbar, in the first round.

The match between Rodrigo Cabeça and Rafael Bueno marked the 100th fight in the event's one-year history. The dispute between them lived up to the title, being a very busy fight. Cabeça's glory began to be written after a spectacular fall. Once on the ground, he wrapped an indefensible rear-naked choke around Rafael Bueno's neck, putting an end to the dispute.
Young people shine and decide in the first round
Guilherme Faria and Ricardo Carcacinha They gave further proof that they are two of the most talented young people in Brazilian MMA. With muay thai sharpened by Paulo Nikolai, Guilherme, 22, needed just 99 seconds to knock out Maikon Carvalho and achieve his 11th career victory.

At 46 years old, Fernando Tréssino proved his strength against Marcio Teles, 17 years younger. Still in the first round, the experienced fighter adjusted the guillotine and ended the clash of generations. In the rear naked choke, at the opening of the main card, Bruno Bulldoguinho submitted Soslenis Grilinho, in the last round of the fight.
The Talent cage shook in the meeting between heavyweights Fernando Santo Forte and Xandão. After 15 minutes of action, Santo Forte, who participated in the last TUF Brazil 3 qualifier, won by unanimous decision. In the same way, Zé Reborn beat Ângelo Gambá.

Talent 8's fight night started the way most fans like it: with lots of knockouts. In the muay thai challenge, which opened the edition, Ricardo Pacheco knocked out Moreno Bibi, while in the first MMA fight, Uyran Presuntinho sent Adriano Mão de Pedra to the canvas in the first round. Roberto Souza and Alselmo Assumpção took a little longer, but knocked out Gustavo Veiga and Tales Alves, respectively, in the second stage.
In the only female duel on the card, Mariana Moraes needed just 44 seconds to adjust the armbar and submit Mariana Santos. Supported by the local fans, Gustavo Erak and Junior Preto dominated the three rounds of their fights and won the decision of the side judges.
