But the lack of limbs didn't stop the American from realizing his dream of debuting in MMA. Maynard ended up being defeated by Bryan Fry in a unanimous decision by the judges, in the main fight of Auburn Fight Night, held last night in the United States.
“It was a difficult strategy to prepare for. I feel like I gave 100% of myself. He didn't want to go to the ground with me, and I had no way of winning a boxing fight against him. When I got to the cage and Fry started the fight, I saw that it was the most serious thing I had ever done in my life, and I loved it”, said Kyle, after the fight to the American website Sherdog
